One of many orphans within the "cheapside" districts of Cheliax's capital of Egorian; the child who would receive the name Icharrod lived a danger-fraught and unpredictable life on the streets. This changed when he was deemed old enough for conscription by the royal press gangs of the Cheliaxan military. Given a name, a lodging (despite its spartan condition) and at least one reasonably warm meal a day in exchange for obedience seemed a decent enough bargain for the young boy. He threw himself into his new duties as a conscript with gusto, pairing his newly-learned discipline with the resourcefulness and outward confidence he'd gained in destitution and abandonment; and it wasn't long until he and his budding bardic talents caught the eyes of his betters.
As a young adult, he was selected for training as a political officer of the Infernal Kingdom, responsible for the loyalty and morale of the commanders and soldiers he would be assigned to. Icharrod fell into the role as naturally as one could; his bardic talents augmenting his own skills for ferreting out information and convincing others to be willing to die for the will of House Thrune. As a full commissar within Cheliax's army; he found himself able make men eager to charge against grim odds, draw out vital information in seemingly idle conversation, and so thoroughly have assurance of his own authority that he could even command a weakminded foe to halt and obey.
His entrance to the Pathfinder Society is the result of over a decade of loyal service, solid results, and favors earned. Despite his new, more flexible position and relative independence from his homeland, Icharrod outwardly and unashamedly supports the virtues of Cheliax and it's Queen. Loyalty aside, the former political officer knows the importance of diplomacy and cooperation amongst the myriad schools of thought within the Society, and is willing to work with most anyone towards a common goal.
