As a member of the pathfinder society you'll have a wayfinder. In addition to having unique traits, these wayfinders will be enchanted to act as a word of recall upon the defeat of a pathfinder (clicking the respawn button), rescuing them back to the grand lodge. This is roleplayed as a rescue via a word of recall, not a death. As long as a pathfinder has their wayfinder they will be able to recall. If a pathfinder were to die without their wayfinder, there would be no way to respawn aside from being rescued (raised) by another player. This is roleplayed as an actual death and subsequent raise accordingly.
Aside from the inconvenience of being recalled back to the grand lodge, players leave behind all currently held currency on the ground. Currency can be safely stored in the bank.
