Agatha Gray
Age: 64
Faith: Asmodeus
Alignment: Lawful Evil
Origin: Cheliax, Corentyn

Unlike the flashy, silk-robed high priests of Egorian, Agatha Gray represents the iron spine of the Asmodean monastic orders. Born to a family of low-tier clerks in the harbor city of Corentyn, she was offered to a temple convent at a young age. Her aged grey hair, plain brown habit, and austere lifestyle reflect a woman who has stripped away all personal vanity to become a perfect tool for the Prince of Darkness.

For forty years, Agatha served as a theological adjudicator, archivist, and contract auditor for the Church. She leaves the physical brawling to the guards. Agatha subdues through the absolute authority of Hell’s magic. When she speaks, the room falls silent; when she channels her deity's power, her enemies drop to their knees. Her long career was defined by her flawless command of divine law, forcing confessions through psychological pressure and absolute scriptural certainty.

As Agatha aged, a joint ailment began to stiffen her legs, forcing her to lean on a sturdy wooden staff to walk. While her physical body slowed, her mind and her connection to Asmodeus only grew sharper.

Her frustration peaked while auditing a wealthy Chelish noble house. She watched the younger, physically fit lords panic and falter during a localized cultist uprising, paralyzed by their own moral weakness and political cowardice. Disgusted by their soft nature, Agatha stood firm in the center of the courtyard. Leaning heavily on her cane, she calmly channeled the terrifying majesty of Hell, crushing the minds of the chaotic insurgents with sheer divine will without taking a single step.

Realizing that Cheliax’s core was rotting from luxury and relying too much on physical might over spiritual discipline, Agatha grew restless. She requested a transfer to the frontiers of the world. She chose to leave the comforts of the capital behind to prove that the true power of Asmodeus lies in unyielding order, law, and faith—not the strength of a sword arm.
