Biography:
Adelheid was born a commoner to a family of peasants, scratching out a subsistence living in the hard cold lands of Brevoy in Avistan. A middle child of 6 siblings, growing up was a case of trying to get past each winter without drawing the ire of their local liege lord. They've had blessings to be thankful for though, as House Lebeda of Silverhall proved to be above the notice of peasants, the east sellen river providing fish and irrigation, and relatives among the local clergy tending to her families well being.

But to Adelheid this wasn't enough. Stuck between the oldest and youngest, she always kept trying to compete and prove herself against her siblings. At first prove she's competent as her older brothers. Then prove she's unique and different than her numerous younger brother and sisters. This made her a bit of a rebellious child, but her energies found outlet in artistic pursuits. Any, at first, and to terrible results of her father's ire when the farm needed extra hands during harvest. But eventually her voice starting winning hearts, and her fingers drew the attention of their village at their local bardic celebrity child.

There was much talk and pride in the village, but there wasn't any teachers that could turn that talent from a hobby to a class. And constantly did Adelheid assail her parents ears. Send her to Silverhall to impress her house lords. Send her to Restov to see the Aldori! Or New Stetven to find talent there to train her. Until fate sent a paladin of Shelyn past her village, impressed by rumors of the local celebrity child. He suggested the Grand Academy of Pitax, and one letter of recommendation later she was on the road outside her homeland, beginning her first adventure.

Academy life wasn't easy to say the least though. The first issue she had was being penniless - her entire wardrobe, her lute and flute, and her school books had to be purchased on credit. Second being an outsider to Pitax, and a commoner to say the least, made her easy target for ostracization. Professor Eobald the Insightful might be a prodigy, but handling bullying he most certainly did not. Third issue, of course, was that her education was financed by the den of vipers that was Pitax, Castruccio Irrovetti most infamous of them all.

Time proved the most prevailing winner of them all. Adelheid would find confidence and inspiration in her current muse and patron, Desna, during her studies. Her impatience, wanderlust, and competitiveness yearning to seek the road again, struggling to stay settled like she did in her peasant life in Brevoy. As soon as graduation had passed, she had the oration and flair for the dramatic of a bard, with a song to uplift and magic to bolster spirits. Rather than stay in Pitax paying off her debts in Irovetti's propoganda machine, she sought her own trail in adventure. Traveling the river kingdoms south in search of opportunity, both mercenary and bardic.

Following the Sellen River south though, this journey eventually made her way to Absalom, having left her mark in various shrines of Desna and lordly courts of nobles.
