Golarion Chronicles is a persistent world roleplay server. Servers of this type follow the expectation that all characters behave in-character the entire time. With the exception of the OOC lounge, all characters in the world act and speak in character.

Roleplay is a group activity. On a roleplay server it is always important to ensure that both sides of interactions are both involved in a way that they enjoy. The goal of roleplay and all of it's interactions is for both sides to have the ability to play their character and involve themselves in interactions that their character would. Consider this when making decisions and consider the other side in the choices you make and how you participate in the server.

The following is prohibited on the forums, discord and in-game:​

• Exploiting mechanics and bugs for benefit.
• Griefing or harassment of players both in and out of game. This includes hate-speech.
• Sexual conduct of any kind involving others who do not want to be involved.
• Metagaming.
• PvP interactions in which the goal is not to promote roleplay or progress a narrative.
• Refrain from using real-world curse words in-game, instead opt to use setting-appropriate ones.
• Looting without expressly interacting with the game mechancs (skipping every encounter in a dungeon to loot the final chest).
• Following players in stealth or invisibility and stealing their loot.
• Repeatedly killing a player in pvp, or engaging in pvp acts with the same group or PCs more than once every 24 hours. Unless consent is given.
• Posting or spreading inappropriate content.
• Any content of any kind involving children.
• References or discussions involving real-world politics.

Player versus Player interactions​

In the event of PvP interactions it is courteous to acquire consent beforehand. If you wish to participate in surprise-attacks and pvp do the other player the courtesy of getting their consent or warning them. You could acquire consent and wait days in order to do so, to maintain the surprise. The goal of PvP should be to progress the story, it should be initiated for reasons of roleplay. If consent is used in a way to gain a mechanical benefit, the situation can be handled by involving DMs.

Examples of Mechanical Exploits:​

• Using strafe-walking to avoid movement speed penalties.
• Taking advantage of AI pathing.
• Swapping weapons in-combat to obtain a higher APR

Nicknames​

Your server nickname is synced with your forum username. The bot will automatically change your nickname to match your forum username. The discord, game and forums all relay information for player benefit allowing you to see in-game information on discord. It's encouraged to have your discord, forum and player name matching to prevent confusion, and to properly link your IC-posts to your characters.
